Modern society is a source of consumption and waste at the same time, the indicator of the abundance and prosperity technology, is the mountain of garbage that accumulates in landfills. Each Brazilian produces a pound of garbage per day, or 25 tonnes during his life, on average, 70 years. If about 40% of that purchase is considered junk, and is awaiting an environmental order, I think that more appropriate, continue the public aware about the reuse of packaging before you discard them. We need to mobilize people for the correct procedures for the separation of waste, with the appropriate placement into landfills.
Let's think: a kilogram of broken glass can make a kilogram of new glass, with the recycling of 40 kg of paper can prevent the cutting of a tree, the energy used for recycling of paper is four times lower than that spent on primary production and the aluminum that difference is 15 times. If a simple option to use glasses, dishes, cutlery and paper timber, instead of plastic utensils, can make pollution reduced, why not then think better? If the frying oil, which plays down the drain, can be used to make soap and moving engines, we recycle them, Come! Moreover, the garbage, even with processed crude separation, form a rich organic compound, a source of essential nutrients for plants.
Despite everything, I'm enthusiasm that the environmental contamination of urban areas, for improper disposal of solid waste - domestic, industrial and hospital - is already receiving considerable attention from public sectors.
